7 simple tips to start reinventing yourself
There is always the turning point where we want to keep growing in all areas of life, but in a brand new way!
Reinventing oneself is a thought that we women always have at some point, right? There are moments when this desire is very strong, in the way that you can no longer escape, and it does not always depend on a super revolution. After all, the snap to bring about change can come from creative stagnation or simply realize that it is time to live with more authenticity.
Fortunately, we've grown and matured — and it's okay to want to elevate the game for the better! The big deal is to know how because, despite the options, there are several annoyances within us, such as wanting to go straight to the action or hesitating in the face of fear. Thinking about it, we've organized some very special tips so that your reinvention can start right now!
1. Find your starting point and make it a habit
Selling candy? Learn programming? Switching careers? These are some starting points. With this clear in mind, the next step is to create a habit, such as committing to physical exercise to achieve a healthier life. The analysis for this to happen starts at the available times. There are women who can not do it in the night period due to other daily demands, but wake up earlier. The same applies if the interest is to dedicate to a separate project, simply create a system of hours and do it little by little.
Write down the key question: what is my starting point for me to start reinventing myself? There's no need to be in a hurry! Respect your own compass and well-being. And set realistic goals.
2. Study and read even cake recipes!
If you do not have an enlightened starting point, explore curiosity. Regardless of the situation, learning develops mental skills and you meet new people - perfect for those who want to renew the cycle of friendships — and thoughts. Not to mention that knowledge improves us and we are motivated to grow professionally and personally.
Tips: Google has a teaching platform, the Google Digital Atelier, and universities, such as Getúlio Vargas Foundation, offer free courses. If you master English, there is Edx and Class Central which are great platforms to explore different subjects.
3. Take advantage of everything you already have and change the style for 1 day.
When we change, so do our tastes! The same for personal style and one of the best tools that can help you when it comes to giving that update is Pinterest. There, you can create folders of outfits and styling tips. From head to toe! Do not worry about buying new clothes, as there are certainly several valuable pieces in your wardrobe - which permits to adopt a conscious fashion, which reinvents itself based on products of timeless quality and thus gaining more durability. Do not forget to always brush each production with your own personality and be sure to share on social networks! Do it for yourself, especially to raise your self-esteem and self-confidence.
Make one or several lists
Lists come very close to what we want. It is a way to take from the mind and draw the starting points of what we want to achieve. And each item can generate goals that will benefit the course of new habits (see topic 1). You want another reason to do them? Each will serve as a clarity and impetus for the realization of your aspirations. Reflect, then, on passions and interests that have arisen in the last 6 months. Include the projects that have been left in the corner or that you still feel like doing. No less important: emphasize subjects that are always repeated in your mind, as they can be signs for amazing things.
5. Recognize procrastination
Have you started a project and not finished it? The answer to this question helps to understand about procrastination that can be the fear of not working out or self-sabotaging thoughts. The advice is: understand its origin, that is, at what moment it arises in the course of the reinvention process. Once you catch it, the next step is to overtake it. Not least because this is a sign that you need to continue, challenging insecurities and doubts.
6. Do not be afraid to experiment
Without procrastination, there are more chances to try new things with lightness and fun. Remember that this attitude has to do with trying, without fear. And trying has everything to bring you closer to what you really like (and you broaden your range of knowledge, you see?).

7. Feel if this is the right time to reinvent yourself
Probably, the desire to reinvent yourself comes from the feeling that you have ceased to evolve. Or when you realize that the life you lead today does not match your new values and desires — and know that this change can also reveal your personal maturation. Time is not your enemy and there is always the right time to change your own history. If it's now, do it!
Reinvention is a word that is also about inner transformation and making it different. Each has its own journey and each is unique in its own way. So get down to business and good luck!
